Hafren Security Ratings

Security Level 1

Entry Level
Fasteners offer protection from vandalism and opportunistic crime. Drivers can be purchased by the general public.

Security Level 2

Enhanced Security
Fasteners are less Common and less Recognizable. Driver Tooling is non-standard and Harder for the general public to buy.

Security Level 3

Medium Security
Rarer (less well-known) products. Supply of driver tooling is controlled, less readily available to buy, enhancing the security of the assembly.

Security Level 4

High Security
Either 1-way permanent fixing, or rare Hafren patented high security products requiring specialist tooling to remove (only available from Hafren approved distributors).

Security Level 5

Maximum Security
Highest security available. Products are either 1-way permanent fixings, or require bespoke exclusive, custom made driver tools to remove.

Delivery & Returns Policy

Did you know Hafren Fasteners can make direct deliveries?

We offer next day (DPD/Parcel Force) deliveries on all stock items. Carriage is FREE on orders over £75, or £9 for orders under £75 (carriage paid). (T&C’s apply*).
​Supporting essential businesses and sites, Hafren Fasteners can offer direct to site deliveries to assist distributors and retailers with maintaining social distancing levels and to those that have closed their trade counters.

Customers should place orders by 4:30pm for same day despatch.

UK Mainland* freight updates (effective Q3 2022)

  • Next day carriage is FREE on orders over £75, or £9 for orders under £75.
  • Next day before 12:00 £13.50 +VAT
  • Pre 10:30 £33.00 +VAT
  • Saturday before 12:00 £35.00 +VAT
  • Saturday before 10:30am £45 +VAT

* UK Mainland Only (UK domestic not including Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Scottish Islands and Highlands, please contact TeamOrange for specific deals on these regions).

No Minimum Order Value
At Hafren no order is too small, there’s no minimum invoice value or small order surcharge… you specify, we deliver.

Split Box Surcharge +25%
At Hafren we can ship any quantity you or your client requires (even less than a full box), there’s just an additional charge of 25% applied to your box quantity rate.

Back Orders
At Hafren, we are happy to take back orders where we’re short on stock, but all items will be requoted based on the costs of new stock arriving. Carriage charges will apply to all back orders in the same way as they do for stock orders.

Distributors Only
Hafren security fasteners are sold exclusively through fastener wholesalers, merchants and distributors… we are happy to work with designers, specifiers and end users to support with application advice, but all quoting and orders will be done through our distributor network.

Worldwide (Outside UK)

All delivery services used by Hafren Fasteners are tracked to ensure full traceability and quality of service. Hafren Fasteners can also use a customer’s own freight account to send order if required.

As carriage costs vary significantly from country-to-country this website will not accept payment from anywhere other than the UK. However, we do sell worldwide.

Anyone outside of the UK wishing to order should call us on +44(0)1686 621 300 or email us export@hafrenfasteners.com, where we will be able to provide a delivery cost for the products you are interested in.

Returns & Refunds

Before any unwanted materials can be returned to us please get in touch either telephone +44 (0)1686 621 300 or via e-mail sales@hafrenfasteners.com with the invoice number and what you need to return. We will then get back to you with what you need to do next. You have 3 days from the date of invoice to notify us (in writing) of any items you wish to return.

Under no circumstances send any materials back to us without getting in touch first as we will not guarantee any refunds.

Any complaint about the goods supplied including damage or short delivery shall only be entertained by the Company if made within three days of delivery and confirmed in writing within 7 days.

In the event that any clause in these conditions should not be legally enforceable, the remaining clauses shall still apply.

Return of goods will not be accepted from the Purchaser except when they have contacted the Company to obtain authorisation. A credit will not be issued until the goods are returned with the correct quoted returns number and the correct delivery note number. Return of stock goods over 3 months from date of order will not be accepted for return unless authorised by the Company. Non-stocked, bespoke made goods cannot be returned.

Acceptance of delivery shall be conclusive evidence of acceptance by the Purchaser of these conditions.

Custom Made Products: As you can perhaps imagine, we are unable to accept the return of bespoke or modified items unless they are damaged or faulty.
