As a company we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations.

	LED Lighting We have changed all of our internal and external lighting to LED bulbs which has reduced our energy usage by 30%
	Electric Vehicles We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by replacing our sales vehicle fleet with EV’s and have just received another fully electric car.
	Solar PV We installed a solar PV system to the roof of our offices last year meaning we’re now able to work ‘off grid’ a lot of the time with excess energy being exported back to the grid.
	Packaging Last year we also switched to more sustainable packaging and are now using boxes made from recycled material and that are 100% recyclable again… you never know where you’ll see them next!
?	GREEN DELIVERIES We have partnered with DPD for our domestic delivery freight who are fast becoming the most sustainable delivery company winning the ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’ last week at the Business Champion Awards.

LOOKING AHEAD

• We’ve got a cardboard crushing machine on order so that we will be able to bale all of our waste card (the stuff we aren’t able to reuse) which will then be sent off to be recycled and used elsewhere.
• We are evaluating battery storage whereby we’ll be able to store excess energy produced by our solar PV system to use during the colder winter months when there’s less hours of sunshine and a need to fire up the electric boilers.
• To further reduce our carbon footprint, we've got big plans to shorten the distance our products need to travel! Watch this space for a big announcement next month.
